Job Overview
As a Senior Risk Management Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to safeguard the organization’s assets and operations. You will lead risk assessment initiatives, develop risk management strategies, and provide insights to support informed decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management principles and strong analytical skills to effectively manage and reduce organizational risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and assessment of potential risks across the organization, including operational, financial, and strategic risks.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and frameworks to address identified risks.
- Conduct detailed risk analyses, including quantitative and qualitative assessments, to support risk mitigation efforts.
- Prepare and present risk reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate risk management practices into business processes and decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and controls.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to ensure effective risk management.
- Conduct risk training and awareness programs to promote a risk-aware culture within the organization.
- Manage and coordinate risk management projects, including the development of risk management policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in risk assessment and management tools (e.g., Excel, RiskWatch).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk-related information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and strategies.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, risk management standards (e.g., ISO 31000), and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional certification (e.g., FRM, CRM) is a plus.
