We are currently looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Engineer!
This is a unique opportunity to join an outstanding business, with the iconic Horizon Organic and the innovative Wallaby yogurt brands, a distinctive premium, organic portfolio with a long-lasting strong commitment to sustainability across its value chain.
Together with the IT Infrastructure Manager and Head of Cybersecurity, you will provide support, maintenance, and evolution of Horizon’s IT systems and infrastructure.On a typical day you can expect to support end-user, patching servers, manage MDM policies, assist in onboarding/offboarding, and execute against IT roadmap milestones. Other duties may include supporting the OT infrastructure as needed.
You will be responsible for managing in-coming requests for IT services, coordinate and perform maintenance, updates, upgrades. and changes to IT systems and services. The role is hybrid, requires at least 3 days per week in our Salt Lake City plant.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administer Microsoft Cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including AD, DHCP, and DNS servers, Terminal Servers, and File Servers.
- Provide support, administration, and maintenance of information technology systems (including PC and LAN equipment).
- Support IT operations functions to offices for the organization’s standard hardware, software, and voice/data network solutions.
- Provide on-site support of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Performs local administration and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitors security compliance in accordance with IT Security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for maintenance of systems documentation such as IT operations manuals.
- Responsible overseeing onboarding and off boarding of employees.
- Provides escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, network, or PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery.
- Performs complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches, and re-installations in cooperation with Infrastructure Manager and/or IT vendors and in accordance with established SLAs.
- Provides consulting/training/education services such as data management and staff training/orientation for standard systems.
- Participates in the identification, development and communication of new technology standards and best practices as appropriate.
- Responsible for monitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis.
- Establishes a process to triage, assess severity, and assign resources to resolve or escalate incidents reported.
- Identify solutions to reduce customer issues and reduce system errors.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Demonstrated expertise with VM technologies, hypervisors, monitoring and backup systems.Preference given to Nutanix.
- Database monitoring and basic administration experience also preferred.
- Expertise in cloud engineering for cost and performance optimization desired.
- Professional certifications as appropriate.
- Knowledge of current trends in the specific field.
- Familiarity with support and troubleshooting of IT Infrastructure
