Job Summary: Utilize strong management and technical competencies to set objectives and develop strategies for security, international travel, crime analysis and executive protection.
Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Develops and oversees the international security programs, procedures, specialized services, and expertise to help ensure that the company's personnel, assets, information and reputation.
- Provides security support to global aviation department in pre-trip planning stage and during trip to ensure the protection of corporate aircraft, passengers and crew.
- Leads the workplace violence programs including conducting assessments.
- Develops and delivers actionable, exception driven reports that highlight criminal, fraudulent behavior and irregular activity to the Loss Prevention team, store partners and internal departmental customers for focused loss/shrink reduction.
- Provides executive protection support for the senior executives during business meetings.
- Applies crime analysis methodology to all locations and assign Security Threat Levels for appropriate guard coverage to include site specific analysis and temporal data for a three year comprehensive review.
- Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing effective support to all functions and individuals within the corporate structure.
- Acts as administrator to key systems and programs within the Loss Prevention department i.e. security automation, Crime Analysis Interactive, OSAC, CAP Index , iJet, etc.
- Maintains fiscal budget and provides input on capital projects
- Manages all the security licensing for H-E-B.
Preferred Education And Experience
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- Experience in corporate security, private security, investigations or related field, preferably in a management role.
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Successfully obtain Licenses through State of Texas for Security Manager, Level IV and Personal Protection Officer
- Concealed Handgun License
- Working knowledge of security automation system, access control system and
H-E-B Systems
- Advanced working knowledge with working with US Embassies abroad as well as with Department of State
- Working knowledge and experience in understanding database structures for data mining.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prepare graphics, charts, maps and other tools for presentation of complex statistical crime analysis.
- Working knowledge of physical security/crime analysis methodology and implementation.
- Working knowledge of emergency response planning and execution, crisis management, disaster recovery operations and business continuity.
