IT MANAGER
Job Summary
IT Manager will be responsible for all IT related equipment, software, and associated life cycle processes. This role owns the relationship with the plant management team and serves as conduit between that team and Corporate IT Leadership team. To accomplish this, the IT Manager role manages day to day IT application & infrastructure support, ensures adherence to existing process, data and testing standards and advocates for process and standard changes where applicable.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as point of contact for IT matters at the plant addressing or escalating plant IT needs as required.
- Responsible for management and tracking of all IT software and hardware assets at the plant and coordinates through Corporate IT team for new software and new licenses for existing software.
- Manage plant IT cost center and collaborate at plant, regional and corporate level to plan annual capital and expense budget needs.
- Contribute at plant staff level to capture needs/pain points to address plant’s needs.
- Coordinate business subject matter experts (SMEs) to thoroughly test new applications and changes to existing applications. Coordinates sign off of business stakeholders on IT driven/executed projects.
- Ensures IT standards, tools and processes are used at their plant; advocates for new standards and modifications to existing standards where applicable.
- Collaborate to deliver business value and drive create and/or adopt best practices based on feedback and strategic input from Corporate IT team.
- Support, troubleshoot, extract data and create applications & databases to integrate materials, operations and accounting seamlessly.
- Maintain systems and infrastructure, back-up systems and procedures to insure continuous, successful operations.
- Help ensure information and supporting hardware/software is managed and stored efficiently, securely and is readily available for use.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Cyber Security, Computer Science, Programming, Software Engineering, Database Design or CIW Enterprise Developer with associated work experience.

- Experience in SQL database, VMware ESXi, Windows Server, T-SQL query knowledge to support the business enterprise.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong detail orientation; ability to set priorities, manage time, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to quickly learn and accurately administer complex processes.
- Strong ability to track actions and follow through on processes.
- Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Windows Server, Windows 10 operating system, T-SQL query building, Zebra label printers, end-user support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to problem solve without direct supervision.
