At SafeNest, we’ve been leading the charge to end domestic and sexual violence since 1977. As Nevada’s largest nonprofit in this field, we support over 20,000 clients annually through emergency shelters, counseling, and advocacy. Your work as our IT and Data Support Manager will be at the heart of this mission, ensuring that our systems, data, and technology drive life-changing services.
In this role, you’ll manage our IT team, IT infrastructure, streamline data processes, and lead technical projects that improve our efficiency and enhance our impact. From report generation, and automating workflows to optimizing data accuracy, your contributions will empower our team to focus on protecting and empowering survivors.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management:
- Review all data entered into SafeNest’s client databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Create and maintain data-driven reporting providing data accuracy, visual readability, and automation
- Establish data naming standards and consistent definitions to improve overall data quality.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups.
Technical Support and Systems Management:
- Create and manage user accounts within the company CRM.
- Manage IT infrastructure including network components, security systems, and user access controls to ensure they work together seamlessly and are optimized for business needs.
- Conduct regular audits on CRM user accounts to identify potential risks and ensure data security compliance.
- Perform meticulous quality assurance checks to maintain accurate and reliable data within the CRM.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to address complex technical issues and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Evaluate and optimize data collection methods, and analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually for improvement.
- Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses for necessary upgrades and manage vendor relationships to ensure they’re offering the best possible service and value.
- Develop and implement automated forms, workflows, and notification systems using SharePoint to streamline processes and enhance organizational responsiveness.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in IT management.
- Deep knowledge of programming languages, operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory), current technologies, and enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
- Expertise in pulling large datasets from APIs or other databases and presenting in a visual format.
- Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
