The IT Manager is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and strategy of Property Reserve. This individual will guide IT operations and align technology investments with business objectives. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining IT infrastructure, managing IT projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of technology systems. This position involves leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT services to support business operations.
Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear technology vision aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Lead the formulation of the company's technology roadmap, ensuring that it supports the long-term strategic direction.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Build and manage a high-performing IT team, including system administrators, security engineers, developers, and support staff.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Information Security and Compliance:
- Implement and oversee comprehensive information security strategies to protect the company's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data privacy laws.
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, overseeing procurement and ensuring the successful implementation of systems and solutions.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, optimizing resource allocation to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with the organization's business goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budgetary requirements.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation:
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance business processes and productivity.
- Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of new IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT industry.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, talent acquisition, and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP may be advantageous.
