Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Aurora, CO that is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who is responsible for the design, support and maintenance of multiple IT infrastructure systems, including servers (Windows and Linux), storage, backup, cloud and disaster recovery. Summary: In this role, the IT Infrastructure Engineer will be working closely with other IT Infrastructure Engineers, systems administrators, 3rd parties and other IT functional groups to ensure that services are available as required. They will ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements, NIST standards, and organizational policies/procedures and be responsible for assisting other engineers/administrators in monitoring, configuring, and responding to infrastructure alerts. Responsibilities:
- Providing configuration control, and planning and implementing sound infrastructure designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures
- Deploying release of new technologies as well as provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers and maintain the infrastructure
- Supports, designs and implements infrastructure technologies/solutions such as: computer storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, commercial off the shelf and open source packages/solutions, virtua/cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
- Analyzes/identifies problems across different technology capabilities and helps to identify appropriate solutions
- Classifies and prioritizes problems, document causes & implement remedies
- Creates system specifications/designs; Works with business and technology stakeholders and explores different approaches to solving problems
- Integrates/tests components, systems and their interfaces to create operational services
- Plans, designs, manages, tests and executes technology solutions, within regulations
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement or automation where practical
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in an IT field; Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for 7 years ofogressive relative work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Infrastructure position, with in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following: Storage and Backup, Servers (Windows and Linux), Virtualization (knowledge of Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor, Prism Element and Prism Central strongly preferred), Disaster Recovery or Hyper-converged Infrastructure
- Experience with multiple stacks is preferred
- althcare IT experience with knowledge of HIPPA preferred
- Expertise in Windows Server operating systems, Linux (Red Hat and Ubuntu) and Windows Active Directory
- Knowledge of data backup methodologies and products (CommVault Simpana preferred)
- Demonstrates support for the company's mission, vision and values with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in designing and deploying reliable infrastructure systems and architectures with strong planning, research and problem resolution skills
- Solid understanding of disaster recovery principals and implementation tools, technologies and methods
- System administration expertise to support multiple platforms and applications
- Skilled in working with cloud deployments in Azure and working with automated infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools
- Understanding of SOX and HIPAA desired
- May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
