Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 32 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Upgrade Specialist to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities
As a PeopleSoft Upgrade Specialist, candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing client’s PeopleSoft environment. Client is looking for someone with hands-on experience in the following areas:
Image Upgrades:
- Successfully completed at least three major image upgrades for highly customized PeopleSoft HCM application.
- Proficient in applying update images (such as Image 48 for HCM 9.2) to existing environments.
- Familiarity with the entire upgrade process, including planning, testing, and validation.
Tools Upgrades:
- Demonstrated ability to upgrade PeopleTools versions.
- Experience with tools upgrades, including transitioning to newer versions seamlessly.
- Knowledge of best practices for maintaining a stable and efficient PeopleSoft environment.
Unified Navigation:
- Mapped the PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (previously known as the Portal) to Unified Navigation.
- Understands how Unified Navigation simplifies user access across different modules.
- Ensured a consistent and user-friendly experience for all system users.
Tax Update Experience:
- Proficient in handling tax-related updates within PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of tax tables, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements.
- Successfully implemented tax updates without disrupting payroll or financial processes.
Change Management:
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams during upgrades.
- Managed change effectively, minimizing disruption to end users.
- Communicated changes clearly to stakeholders.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintained detailed documentation of upgrade processes.
- Provided training and support to end users post-upgrade.
Texas CAPPS HCM Experience (Preferred):
- Familiarity with the Texas Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (Texas CAPPS) HCM module.
- Ability to navigate and configure Texas CAPPS HCM functionalities.
