Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Azure System Administrator to join our Central Ohio Client's growing team. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services
- Implement and maintain system configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of Azure resources
- Monitor and analyze system performance, and troubleshoot issues to resolve them in a timely manner
- Oversee security management, including user access controls, data protection, and compliance with security policies and best practices
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical support and solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Perform regular system updates and patches to keep the infrastructure up-to-date and secure
- Participate in capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate resources are available to meet organizational needs
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Azure cloud services
- Azure certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud infrastructure, and system management
- Experience with security management, including access controls and data protection
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
