What You’ll Do
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for assisting providers in assessing their cybersecurity programs, using the established Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) tools. They will also coordinate with external cybersecurity experts to provide resources to providers to mitigate cybersecurity gaps and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Our requirement for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
- Masters preferred.
- Cybersecurity certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in technical roles such as systems security or solutions architecture.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of medical records, health data security, and other relevant domain-specific regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written; the ability to convey technically complex information and concepts in easily understood terms.
