Network Security Architect – Permanent – Dallas, TX – $110,000 - $130,000.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Network Security Architect in Dallas, TX.
Role Description
The Senior Network Security Architect is responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of enterprise security strategies, architectures, and solutions to protect the company's network and meet security and compliance requirements. This role supports the production environment and ensures appropriate security policies and practices are implemented and enforced. It also conducts penetration and vulnerability testing and reporting.
The Senior Network Security Architect collaborates with stakeholders to develop secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. This role also works with vendors to evaluate and adopt evolving technologies to meet rapidly changing requirements. This role may also install and configure Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure, assist in maintaining the operating system and security software used on the network, and perform maintenance to enhance network availability.
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in architecture and design of complex network within in large enterprise environment
• Must possess hands-on experience installing and configuring Cisco routers and switches
• Must possess strong experience working with identity network services such as (Cisco ISE and Aruba Clearpass)
• Must possess solid experience designing and architecting network security solutions end-to-end on industry-leading public-cloud platforms such as (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Must possess robust experience working with network security technologies like firewalls (Palo Alto and Juniper SRX)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, other advanced science, or engineering field.
