### Position Overview
We are currently seeking a professional to oversee and enhance our risk management operations. This role entails ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations, managing vendor relationships, conducting quality assurance reviews, and maintaining the integrity of member data processes.
### Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to effectively identify and report enterprise risks.
- Oversee the vendor management program to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to create and implement a long-term strategic legal plan as the go-to legal resource.
- Review, revise, and negotiate contracts and corporate policies, in collaboration with team members.
- Conduct research and provide legal advice on compliance initiatives, regulatory matters, and other legal concerns.
- Assess risks related to controls, activities, policies, and procedures, while developing practices to mitigate undue risk.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and oversight of organizational policies, principles, and standards.
- Ensure that annual regulatory training for team members is carried out.
- Oversee the organization's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) program.
- Administer the Fair Lending program in accordance with the SAFE Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- Promote a culture of teamwork, integrity, and leadership in all interactions.
- Evaluate business processes for alignment with risk appetite and develop effective management tools for enterprise risk.
### Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) is required.
- Extensive experience in compliance governance, specifically with NCUA and relevant Federal and State regulations affecting Credit Unions.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of compliance experience within a financial institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

- Proficient in engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
