Senior Network Data Engineer -W2 ONLY
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Contract: 12 Months+
Must Have Experience
- This is a Cisco based customer – and understanding of Cisco networks and certifications are required
- 7-10 years of experience in data network engineering experience and can work independently.
- They may work directly with business partners and lead projects to design and implement complex data solutions.
- Strong understanding of large enterprise networks and enterprise network technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of routing protocols, ability advertise and filter route prefixes and redistribute routing information.
- Configure and deploy routers and switches using provisioning templates as well as generating configurations for unique deployments where a solution does not yet exist.
- Fundamental understanding for firewall technologies, ability to add/delete network policy, troubleshoot firewall related issues using firewall log entries and validate firewall routing.
- Must have working knowledge of underlay and overlay network technologies and protocols such as DMVPN and SDWAN.
- Able to use Visio – will need to have the ability to create a construction package for field technicians to install data equipment providing, detailed, written instruction with a bill of materials list.
- Will be performing NERC CIP compliance work, add or remove devices from the network and process footprints CRQs to modify configuration.
- Cisco certifications are ideal
