The Department of information Technology (DOIT) is seeking an experienced IT professional to assist our in-house team with the deployment and configuration of CrowdStrike’s Identity Protection platform module into our existing CrowdStrike environment. Additionally, the candidate will work with the team to further develop and refine our configurations for other products in our security portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) in CrowdStrike, have extensive device management experience, possess excellent communication skills, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams from both IT, and departmental business units. Additionally, experience with security features and solutions from Microsoft 365, and secure email gateway platforms, and identity and access management using Microsoft Active Directory/Entra are highly desired.
Under the guidance of DOIT this position will be responsible for:
- Drafting and implementing security baselines, and associated compliance actions within CrowdStrike
- Drafting, testing, and implementing alerting and reports within CrowdStrike.
- Help draft implementation plans/policies for advanced security features within the M365 environment.
- Help establish governance and processes around Azure guest accounts and their maintenance.
- Review and help streamline existing security tool configurations/processes to achieve better efficiency and value (e.g. Proofpoint, Forcepoint, Trellix, Sentinel, LogRhythm, Falcon Complete, M365, etc.)
