### Key Responsibilities
- **Lead Generation**: Utilize outbound calls, emails, social media, and industry events to identify and qualify potential leads interested in cybersecurity solutions.
- **Prospecting**: Conduct research on target industries and decision-makers to customize outreach strategies for effective engagement.
- **Outbound Outreach**: Initiate meaningful discussions with prospects to understand their cybersecurity challenges and present our solutions as ideal choices.
- **Pipeline Management**: Maintain accurate records of interactions and activities in our CRM system to ensure seamless collaboration with the sales team.
- **Collaboration**: Partner closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads, sharing insights to optimize the sales process.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively address evolving client concerns.
- **Performance Metrics**: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for lead generation, engagement, and opportunity conversion.
### Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Proficiency in consultative selling techniques with a strong ability to articulate the value of offerings.
- Customer-focused mindset with the capability to handle objections with professionalism.
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability to changing environments.
- Professional engagement on personal Facebook and LinkedIn accounts for connecting with prospects.
### Additional Information
- **Salary**: Base salary of $40,000 per year, with the potential for on-target earnings (OTE) exceeding $70,000 through commission.
- **Compensation Structure**: Earn $50 for each quality call booked and attended, plus 1% of the total Closed Contract Value for each new client acquired.
- **Benefits**: Medical, vision, and dental coverage, 15 days of paid time off (PTO), most national holidays, an extra day after Thanksgiving, and a 401(k) plan.
- **Location**: Hybrid position based in Portland; candidates with remote sales experience from the West Coast may be considered for a fully-remote setup.
- **Work Schedule**: Full-time role from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time.
