Job Description:
- Client is seeking a Network Engineer (NE) to participate in the coordination, installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure with a focus on enterprise network, supporting client’s Data Center exits into a new Data Center operating model.
- CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification with - Datacenter experience Required
- The Network Engineer will provide technical support to end users via troubleshooting skills across both network and system applications.
- Network Engineer will Integrate, consolidate and maintain network services across but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices.
- Network Engineer will coordinate, design, implement and validate in accordance with our latest architectural design standards, implementation, and validation through best practices.
- Internet designs and or migrations must be executed during business approved change green zones, (non-business hours).
Required Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment.
- 3 plus years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in implementing DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs in a large enterprise environment.
- 3 plus years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, education.
- 3 plus years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line.
Desired Qualifications:
- CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering and/or 3 plus Years of Networking Experience
- Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
- Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products.
- Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now
- Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional
- Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
- Experience preferred with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB
- Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues.
- Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution.
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Network Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Network Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Network Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 plus years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
