This Security Associate Analyst role will support our data security team in ensuring the security of data within our organization by monitoring, investigating, and responding to potential data incidents.

- Perform basic service analysis as it relates to the information security function or capability
- Responsible for operations and maintenance of key cyber security capabilities and services
- Resolve issues and incidents by performing basic root cause analysis and developing and implementing solutions.
- Working closely with IT, security teams, and other stakeholders to enhance data security.
- Responsible for supporting DLP (Data Loss prevention) platform operations and maintenance of key capabilities and services
- Partner with assigned teams to implement information security features
- Other duties as assigned by management
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in related STEM field
What Else We Look For (Preferred)
- Experience responding to DLP alerts and incidents, conducting investigations, and resolving issues.
- Experience generating reports on DLP incidents and the effectiveness of DLP measures.
- Good organization and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate potential data security risks.
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $66,000 to $93,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
