In this role, you will be tasked with designing and developing innovative technical solutions that respond directly to our clients' needs. Your collaboration with clients and sales teams will be crucial in ensuring our solutions are technically robust and deliver substantial business value.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage with clients to educate them on, develop, and present tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Foster and maintain relationships as a trusted advisor with client technologists and executive team members.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evolve and enhance solutions based on client feedback.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to continuously elevate your skills and knowledge.
- Participate in client meetings, marketing events, and trade shows, both in-person and virtually.
**Required Qualifications**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas to various audiences, including C-level executives.
- Proficiency in VMware virtualization, particularly in its administration and design.
- Familiarity with vCloud Director, NSX, and vSAN is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture or sales engineering.
- Knowledge of hyperscale platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX, AWS Solutions Architect) or a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows, Linux, Palo Alto, Nutanix, Zerto, VMware Horizon, Citrix, Cohesity, and Commvault.
- Understanding of Cloud Native technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as switching, routing, firewalling, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in storage technologies, including RAID and Erasure Coding.
- Understanding of network security concepts and backup strategies.
- Experience with disaster recovery technologies, planning, and testing.
- Familiarity with database technologies.
**Compensation and Benefits**
- The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience and technical skills. Additional variable compensation and commissions may also apply.
