Purpose/Position Summary
Position manages implementation, and maintenance of Concessions International information systems, point of sale systems and equipment, PC and network support, and support for business reporting and analysis. Provides professional level services in systems design, platform and software selection, interfacing, Maintains operating systems and software, upgrades when appropriate. Resolves system and software problems raised by users. Programs custom integrations, file transfer and file building as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Point of Sale System Micros Simphony and Micros 3700 and other future POS systems.
- Programs and sets up integrations with vendors and internal ERP systems.
- Manages, Configures, and operates internal networks for corporate and field locations. Work with construction and project managers for new installations and remodeling projects to configure cabling, equipment and related technical issues.
- Provides support to company intranet and internal email/data exchange issues.
- Implement, and operate internal management systems, including accounting and finance, specialized databases, reporting systems, office automation software, email, and related tools. Respond to requests from internal management to investigate available solutions to problems and make recommendations.
- Support field information technology needs, including point of sale equipment and software, systems training, communications, analysis tools, and any other system needs. Maintain tools and security provisions that will prevent unauthorized access to company data and systems. Assure that critical company files and tools are backed up in a structured and secure manner and that the company systems can be restored with a minimum of downtime.
- Installs updates to operating system(s). Prepare for and install system updates and software updates. Write special reports and tools for use by headquarters or field operations staff. Designs program modifications, system interfaces, and custom reports for line management.
- Supervise a team of IT technicians, ensuring efficient operation and timely resolution of technical issues
- Performs other duties as dictated by business needs.

Education/ Previous Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years in system and software operations, modification, and system maintenance. Minimum of 3 years of lead or supervisory experience. Exposure to overall IT operations and management. Food Industry/ Restaurant experience is a Plus.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Working knowledge of the hardware or software used by the company such as Micros 3700 Point of Sale (POS) system, SQL database, Windows, Dynamics, Office 365, Crunch Time, Micros, Adobe, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis end of computer hardware/ software systems
- Hands on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Uses discernment to make decisions with regards to priorities and determining best methods to resolve issues.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve conflict and deliver results.
- Knowledge of PC’s office automation software, and networking.
- Honed project management skills with ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintain a high level of accuracy, meet deadlines, while paying strong attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and/or others as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong customer service orientation. Exercises active listening, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the issue and asking questions as appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
- Ability to maintain and modify Restaurant 365 accounting systems or equivalents.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale hardware, software, and networks.
- Able to communicate with vendors, technicians, and users.
- Working knowledge of a programming language such as Java, Python and etc
