### Key Responsibilities
- **Impactful Contributions**: Enhance security platforms and support various production environments through a proactive, responsive, and preventative approach.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work alongside internal security and production support teams to address issues, manage daily requests, and lead special projects.
- **Security Management**: Oversee troubleshooting and management of security incidents, while cross-training on essential platforms such as Tripwire, Guardium, and StealthAudit.
- **Independent Initiative**: Take charge of managing tasks, including triaging security agents and maintaining technical documentation.
- **Mentorship**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and supporting their professional growth.
### Qualifications
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong background in operating systems, production support, networking concepts, and data structures, with proficiency in SQL queries and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and BASH. Familiarity with tools such as Splunk is essential.
- **Collaboration Skills**: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth application operation.
- **Documentation Skills**: Capacity to create and manage technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- **Experience**: Familiarity with management and automation tools like BladeLogic and Ansible, as well as cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Prior experience with security tools like StealthAudit and Guardium is a plus.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, especially in conducting root cause analysis and responding to high-priority security incidents.
### Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 8-10 years of relevant infrastructure experience, ideally within the securities or financial services sector.
