THE POSITION
Our DevSecOps Engineer will have a critical role in optimizing and securing our software development process. This role will be a part of a global team of IT professionals and will be working closely with our development teams, DevOps support, and other stakeholders. The engineer will work closely with our other DevSecOps engineers in leading the design, development, and automation of our build and delivery pipelines, evaluate and implement new tools, and provide technical guidance to the team.

THE JOB
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the administration of local and remote DevSecOps environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and software build processes.
- Ensure the production of high-quality, secure, and configuration-controlled software.
- Automate build processes and manage custom configurations.
- Monitor and track code security issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical support to developers and customers for DevSecOps-related issues.
- Improve and maintain tools and processes to enhance software quality and security.
- Apply CMMC and RMF security controls and ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
- Document processes, write test cases, and maintain high standards in technical documentation.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in DevSecOps or related roles within tech sector, such as a software engineering or system administration, leading to expertise in DevSecOps.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Must be willing to obtain certifications as required by projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and cross-department collaboration skills.
- Proficient in applying automation (Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or Puppet), with a focus on Infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with Linux system administration, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in designing and developing software systems, particularly within the military, industrial, and commercial sectors.
- Skilled in implementing and maintaining security measures, including conducting scans (SAST, DAST, virus, malware), applying patches, and generating reports.
- Strong expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting automated testing and reporting processes.
- Extensive expertise in DevSecOps tools and environments.
- Proven ability in design, develop, and maintain, CI/CD pipelines and on-premises platform solutions.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a self- starter and embrace challenges with a determined, can- do attitude!
DESIRED SKILLS:
- CompTIA A+ certification, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with CMMC and/or RMF.
- Experience within the DoD sector.
- Experience with Microsoft Server systems including Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, System Canter, Office 365.
- Knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Facility Clearance Level (FCL) requirements.
