About the role: Perform installations, maintenance, and repair work on any computer-related equipment that supports the business from laptops, desktops, servers, communications equipment (digital & IP phones), tablets (ex. iPads), smartphones (ex. iPhones, Android), printers, local area networks, wide area networks, any piece of computer related peripheral or software an end user would be using. An IT technician has to perform the majority of the mentioned tasks while providing a high level of customer service to the user.

What You’ll Do:
- Connecting and setting up hardware
- Installing, but not limited to, computers, servers, firewalls, routers, wireless access points, network switches
- Loading all necessary software
- Providing network access and connectivity to the users and staff
- Monitoring network securityand network performance
- Installing and maintaining passwords and Foolproof
- Advising staff about any security breach
- Ensuring that lock-out programs are installed
- Troubleshooting all issues promptly
- Maintaining IP addresses
- Maintaining a list of necessary maintenance and repairs
- Researching both current and potential services and resources
- Making recommendations about the purchase of resources
- Identifying and preparing hardware for safe disposal
- Ensuring hardware is secured and stripped before disposal
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- Troubleshooting network operating systems, software, and hardware
- A few years of related experience, ideally working with external clients in the Managed Services or IT Services industry
- Being familiar with network operating systems, software, and hardware
- Work within a ticketing system and create documentation for new processes
- Experience with ConnectWise preferred
- Training users and staff to maximize the potential of existing technology
- Taking new users through the orientation process
- Providing individual support and training upon request
- Providing recommendations about support and information access
- Maintaining an updated inventory of software, hardware and resources
- Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Troubleshoot issues utilizing the latest versions of the following technologies: Active Directory, VPN Clients, Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Mac OS, laptop and desktop hardware, Anti-Virus, and Malware software, Spam Filtering, and Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal staff
Compensation:

Each Dataprise employee will be compensated in line with their specific scope of responsibility, skill level, and educational background, in addition to the projected impact on the success of the Company
- We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts
- This position’s Salary Range is: $50,000-$52,000 (NOTE: this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate)
