**Compensation and Location**
- W-2 rate: up to $40/hour

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, implement, and administer identity and access management services across the organization.
- Develop policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure the identity and access management program meets established standards.
- Manage user access to systems, applications, and data, collaborating with departments to grant appropriate access entitlements.
- Perform risk assessments and audits to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the organization.
- Prepare reports on identity and access management and monitor current processes.
- Develop and manage vulnerability and threat management processes and procedures.
- Train users on security policies and monitor compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
- Document security requirements, controls, and the impact of new technology on security posture.
- Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in Identity and Access Management or a related field.
- Preferred experience with IAM tools such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD, as well as programming languages like Java, Python, and PowerShell.
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) is preferred.
- Experience with SQL databases and in IT security or a related field.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Understanding of IAM concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and role-based access control.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
- Familiarity with networking concepts like firewalls, VPNs, and DNS.
- Technical troubleshooting skills for IAM-related issues.
- Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Capability to build relationships across teams and communicate complex technical matters to non-technical staff.
**Additional Requirements**
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
- Background investigation required, and must maintain compliance with relevant code.
- On-call availability required for specific days each month.
- Must pass a national fingerprint-based records check for positions involving access to criminal justice databases.
**Work Environment**
- Standard office setting with a hybrid work schedule of 40 hours per week, including on-call duties and minimal travel (less than 10%).
- Expected to sit for prolonged periods.
