A Day in the Life:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four, ensuring optimal staffing, performance, and capacity planning
- Strategic Oversight: Lead the IT Finance and Accounting business applications team, guiding strategy, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement efforts
- Technical Mastery: Own all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics related to Finance and Accounting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide leadership in cross-functional projects, ensuring the design and implementation of solutions that align with business processes and objectives
- Service Level Management: Oversee service levels, including SLA management, incident resolution, and the delivery of smaller projects
- Continuous Improvement: Lead quarterly patch evaluations and testing activities, ensuring business continuity and driving ongoing enhancements
- M&A Integration: Play a key role in M&A activities, leading and executing integration plans with cross-functional business groups
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role
- ERP Expertise: Strong background in implementing and supporting ERP applications, particularly Oracle EBS, with experience leading digital transformation projects from Oracle EBS to the Cloud in the finance domain
- SaaS Proficiency: Proven ability to manage and utilize SaaS applications in the Finance area
- Advisory Skills: Comfortable serving as a trusted advisor to the business, with the ability to challenge requests and provide strategic insights
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to management and cross-functional teams
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Information Technology from an accredited university
- Location: Local to Birmingham, Alabama, or willing to relocate upon hire
