What You'll Be Doing
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide help desk support to team members, addressing software, hardware, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Software Updates & Maintenance: Regularly update software on company devices, ensuring all systems are secure and running efficiently.
- VPN Management: Manage VPN access and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure remote employees have secure and reliable access to company resources.
- Security & Malware Protection: Conduct regular security assessments, malware testing, and implement security measures to protect company data.
- System Backups: Ensure regular backups are completed and data recovery processes are in place.
- Privacy & Compliance: Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s privacy policies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Employee Onboarding & Off-boarding: Helping to issue computers, IT assets, and provision accounts to new employees as they join. Responsibly shutting down accounts and resetting technology during the off-boarding process.
- New Account Setup & Administration: Handle the creation and administration of user accounts, ensuring proper access rights and security measures.
- Inventory Tracking & Management: Keeping track of IT assets ensuring everything is accounted for and in working order.
- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and provide training to staff as needed. This will involve the implementation of an IT security training program for all of our employees and a series of regular training programs on core Ludus technologies like Slack, Notion, Asana, etc.
- Project Support: Assist in IT-related projects as needed, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new software rollouts.
- Customer Support: Assist the Customer Support (CS) team with various tasks related to the implementation of the Ludus product.
Traits we're looking for
(In no certain order)
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Strong knowledge of Ludus tools and software:
- macOS software & linux environments
- G-suite (Google)
- Strong Remote Problem solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently in a remote setting where it is harder to be “hands on” with the phsyical device. Knowledge of how to leverage remote desktop support tools.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing IT assets, ensuring all details are accounted for.
- Proactive Approach: Takes initiative in identifying and addressing potential IT issues before they become problems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff members clearly and effectively.
- Adaptability: Comfortable handling a wide range of tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience with Security Protocols: Knowledge of malware protection, data encryption, and other security measures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Strong expertise in peripheral device integration, including networked connectivity for printers, payment terminals, and similar devices.
- Familiarity with typical network and security architectures used in K-12 and university educational environments.

Role Details
- Salary Range: $55k-$70k
- Location: Hybrid/West Michigan (we have offices in Holland and Grand Rapids, Michigan)
