Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Lathrop / 100% Onsite
Pay Range: $52-62/hr.
- Responsibilities:
- Support and manage complex systems and networks (PCs, VDI, mobile devices, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
- Analyze, plan, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, SANs, and NAS.
- Perform network and system troubleshooting and enhance security measures.
- Provide technical assistance, training, and support to users.
- Oversee network operations, software maintenance, and special IT projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network and server configurations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and handle disaster recovery planning.
- Levels:
- Engineer I: Entry-level, supports GIS systems, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
- Engineer II: Journey-level, performs complex system analysis, manages software installations, and oversees vendor interactions.
- Engineer III: Advanced-level, leads major projects, manages network security, performs in-depth troubleshooting, and ensures system reliability and compliance.
- Qualifications:
- Engineer I: Three years of relevant experience, Associate's degree in a related field, preferred CompTIA A+ certification.
- Engineer II: Four years of experience, including project lead roles, Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Engineer III: Extensive experience with advanced technical and project management skills.
- Working Conditions:
- Involves physical tasks like installing and repairing hardware, working in various environments, and may require vehicle use.
