Role Description:
The Vice President of Business Development will play a critical role in leading the strategic expansion into the U.S. market. Reporting to the Country Manager/Head of Jumex U.S., this executive will be responsible for driving growth, establishing key partnerships, and developing a comprehensive market entry strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the beverage industry, a deep understanding of U.S. market dynamics, with a proven track record in go-to-market strategy, co-packing operations, and channel development within the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand Grupo Jumex's market presence in the U.S.
- Co-Packing Operations: Develop and manage co-packing strategies and operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to brand standards.
- New Product Development: Lead the creation and launch of beverages in new categories, utilizing market research and best practices. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations to ensure timely and successful product introductions.
- Market Entry Strategy: Partner with marketing and product teams to design and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Brand Positioning: Work with marketing and product teams to develop and implement brand positioning and marketing campaigns tailored to the U.S. market.
- Channel Development: Collaborate with teams to drive the launch and growth of Food Service, eCommerce, and Licensing businesses.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of senior-level business development experience in the beverage industry, with a focus on the U.S. market.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, co-packing operations, new product development, and multi-channel distribution in the beverage sector.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to navigate complex market dynamics and drive business growth.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
