Duties
- You will collaborate with senior leadership and managers to implement workforce solutions that provide positive impacts to the end users.
- You will develop and evaluate state-of-the-art products, perform studies, and develop future plans for application of information technology automated solutions to end-users.
- You will develop and manage application software and technical documentation for automated solutions delivered via Microsoft Share Point.
- You will develop lifecycle planning for IT systems, identifying overall system requirements, organization needs, and system impacts.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve complex system conflicts supporting IT Systems.
- You will utilize MS SharePoint in conjunction with MS Office products, to include MS Power Applications, to track development and management of SharePoint structure

Through collaboration with the NDW SharePoint Online System Administrator assist in the development of policy and standards that supporting knowledge management solutions; 2. Develop detailed training plans for SPO Customers that can be used to enhance the Commands capabilities in using SharePoint; 3. Troubleshoot and resolve basic system conflicts with supported IT Systems; and 4. Collect program requirements to develop automated solution for the support programs within NDW and supported Installations with assistance from the lead SharePoint Administrator.

This position is established as a developmental level in a career ladder to PD# NDW0010, GS-2210-12, FPL. The incumbent works under closer supervision and works in a developmental capacity performing assignments and completing training, both of which are designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for successful performance at the next target-level position.
Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan (IDP) signed by both the employee and supervisor.
This position as been designated as a Cyberspace Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) work role of 431, Knowledge Manager, proficiency level Intermediate. As a condition of employment, the incumbent of the position is required to obtain and maintain qualification
in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program, February 15, 2023 and supporting Department of Navy policies.
This designation requires that incumbent to:
- Obtain the foundational qualification within 9 months and the residential qualification within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials described in DoDM 8140.03 for DCWF work role of 431, Knowledge Manager, proficiency level Basic. For more information, please review DoDM8140.03 and supporting DON policies.
- Participate in continuous professional development program as described in DoDM 8140.03. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous professional development must be documented and completed in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor. Continuous professional development begins in the fiscal year after the employee has obtained both foundational and residential qualification requirements.
- Acknowledge responsibilities in writing via command designation letter. Failure to meet a condition of employment may result in disciplinary and/or adverse action up to removal for federal service.
