This job is posted as remote unless the selected candidates lives within 50 miles, then you are required to work hybrid from our Dearborn, MI office
The Vehicle Ecosystem cyber security team is directly engaged with securing the entire end-to-end solution for Connected Vehicle Ecosystem Cybersecurity.
The candidate selected for this position will play a key role in the development and delivery of secure, global connected vehicle applications and features and provide cybersecurity consulting services to active product projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as single point of contact and cyber security consultant for security experiments research projects and programs
- Conduct threat assessments of the systems architecture through modeling and testing
- Provide technical cyber security expertise for Ford's connected vehicle and mobility products, services and applications
- Develop and continuously improve security specifications and policies for mobility and connected vehicle products and features
- Actively participate in applying cyber security best practices to product development projects and programs
- Support major product launches with additional cyber security needs
- React to cyber incidents by following the established procedures
- Promptly escalate to management vulnerabilities identified during assessments or incident response.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of experience in a technical cyber security or security architecture position
- 3+ years of experience in a cloud applications or cloud infrastructure engineering position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in identity and access management (IAM) in medium to large environments including multifactor authentication, Oauth grant flows and identity federation.
- Experience applying security fundamentals (such as Cryptography, certificates, digital signing, PKI, TLS, mTLS).
- Experience with cloud computing and security including GCP, Azure, AWS, Cloud Foundry or equivalent.
- Familiarity or interest in automotive network architecture, modules, and protocols (CAN etc.)
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of project deliverables, go above and beyond the task at hand.
- Familiarity with Secure Coding practices, processes and methods.
- Expertise in architecture, development, design principals.
- Work well in a small team and willing to work on any aspect of a project.
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation as required.
- Understanding of the vehicle and connected cloud architecture.
- Penetration testing and tools experienceCertifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or SANSGMOB/GPEN
