Job Description: Information Systems Security Officer
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to provide supportive services for the US Air Force. This position has the option to be performed remotely and occasional on-site visits will be required.
The ECOMPEX Career Position Supports The Following
- Act as the main technical contact for addressing security issues related to the Construction Management Information System (CMIS) or similar systems in support of the Air Force.
- Analyze and assess threats and vulnerabilities to information systems to ensure sufficient protection.
- Conduct risk analysis, testing, and evaluations when modifications or changes are made to applications or systems.
- Investigate unusual situations to identify potential vulnerabilities and oversee the implementation of physical and technical security measures to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information.
- Determine security-critical requirements and establish appropriate controls to address them.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess an active secret security clearance.
- Must possess a GIAC Security Leadership certification (GSLC).
- Must have an approved IAM Level III certification: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP.
- Must possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.
Primary work location: Remote or on-site
Travel Expectations: Travel is not required for this position.
