Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Analyst to join our IT Services team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, data, and network systems. The IT Support Analyst will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues, assisting with IT-related projects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting hardware, software, data/report, and network-related issues.
- Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure a timely resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support or specialized teams as necessary.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, printers, and other IT-related equipment.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and security of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates for software applications, operating systems, and IT equipment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in or lead IT projects, including software rollouts, hardware upgrades, and network enhancements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems, applications, and best practices.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and ensure accurate documentation of IT processes and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain IT Security and backup/recovery standards
- Software Quality Assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Office 365.
- Familiarity with network concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with Active Directory, 0365, and other user management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT security experience.
- AWS Cloud experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- SQL reporting, SSRS experience, or the desire to learn and grow.
