Think Consulting is actively seeking a
Chief Technology Officer for a client in
Baltimore, MD, who serves as a strategic technology partner to both private and public sectors. In this role, you will lead the company’s technology initiatives, aligning technical strategy with business objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will steer technology teams, cultivate a culture of innovation, and leverage technology to drive competitive advantage and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Build and lead high-performing technical teams, encouraging innovation and collaboration.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our products.
- Ensure compliance with government and IT regulations, including NIST and CMMC.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client needs and contribute to successful proposals.
- Oversee technical project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet/exceed standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical and cybersecurity risks, and implement security measures to protect operations and client data.
- Establish quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
- Complete department and organization objectives as needed with minimal guidance.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership role.
- At least 7 years of experience in a government contracting environment.
- Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and IT best practices.
- Deep understanding of NIST/ISO 27001.
- Previous experience as a developer/engineer is required.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, and/or PMP.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with senior management.
- Must be organized, confident, self-motivated, and capable of identifying priorities and proposing solutions to achieve results with minimal supervision.
Salary: 200-250k + Bonus
