We are seeking a
Top Secret cleared Senior Systems Administrator to support our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Call Order with a critical federal Law Enforcement federal partner. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the contract team and performing technical duties to deliver operations and maintenance support services for all aspects of the customer’s ICAM system. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with the Unified Communications (UC) team to support Exchange, Skype, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Cloud services, and the customer’s mobile devices.
Unlike many systems administrator roles, this position will require the candidate to leverage their experience to help the customer design and implement improvements focused on operating, managing, maintaining, and upgrading four enterprise network enclaves, servers, storage, health monitoring tools, techniques, and processes. This role also requires coordination with personnel working on other ICAM/UC teams, as well as other Call Orders, Task Orders (TOs), and contracts, to ensure successful connectivity, integration, and strategic alignment with the ICAM/UC system infrastructure.
Tasks
Responsibilities
- Tier 3 System Admin Support by managing user, customer, and admin account management through Active Directory, and perform hands-on work.
- Coordinate and maintain SOPs, user guides, checklists, and technical documentation.
- Assist with software, OS, and patch updates; development/test labs.
- Assist with developing new techniques for monitoring and troubleshooting; manage ticket queues and resolve service interruptions.
- Support annual exercises and real-world events for system failover.
- Provide system availability metrics, address SLA trends, and recommend enhancements.
- Facilitate Scrum processes, including Release Planning, and ensure effective tracking of stories and processes.
- Optimize ICAM during new contract transitions and may supervise other specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for ICAM operations, maintenance, auditing, analysis, performance, and administration
- Maintain system infrastructure, core capabilities, and associated processes
- Administer on-premises and cloud-based applications and services
- Support administration of tools like Microsoft AGPM, Resultant Set of Policy, and Identity Manager (FIM)
- Ensure FISMA compliance in the Active Directory environment
- Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, PowerShell, and scripting tools
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2, 2008 R2, 2003), SQL, LDAP, Secure LDAP, and Dell Active Administrator
- Proficient in installing, configuring, and administering Windows Server (2012 or 2008 R2)
- Skilled in creating, modifying, troubleshooting, and auditing group policies
- Schedule and maintain installations and upgrades per IT policies
- Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity through appropriate software/hardware solutions
- Implement backup and archive operations for data/media recoverability
- Monitor systems and network to ensure availability and perform necessary maintenance
- Interface with engineering, program management, and vendors for technical support
- Effectively share technical knowledge between government and contractor personnel
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years experience. In lieu of eight years' experience, certifications or past work may be accepted.
- 5+ years of troubleshooting Active Directory, especially group policy issues
- Expertise in:
- Identity Management, Governance, and Lifecycle Management
- Authentication, Authorization, and Access Management
- Federation Services and Trust Relationships
- Directory Services Management
- Endpoint Detection, Response, and Identity Protection
- Endpoint Management
- Collaboration and Cloud-Based Productivity Services
- Experience with evaluating, administering, and maintaining enterprise ICAM solutions for a secure IT environment
Other Desired Skills Include
- Certified in Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Scrum Master, SAFe, or Security+.
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Management (MIM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting
- Skilled in Jira data entry and Confluence document management
- Advanced in Microsoft Visio and Excel
- Knowledgeable in Netwrix Auditor and HP ServiceManager Ticketing System
