We are seeking a
Top Secret cleared, Senior Systems Administrator to join our team leading the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Call Order of a critical Law Enforcement customer. The candidate will lead the contract team in performing technical duties to deliver operations and maintenance support services for all aspects of ICAM. The position requires coordination with goverment and contractor personnel working on other service support contract and initiatives that leverage PIV technologies to ensure succesful connectivity. Indeed, Sr. SysAdmin will leverage their experiences when helping the customer design and implement improvement focused on operating, managing, maintaining and upgrading four enterprise network enclaves, servers, storage, health monitoring and tools, techniques and processes.
The candidate will work within a team focused on operating, managing, maintaining and upgrading four enterprise network enclaves. Additional cloud-based, hybrid, disjointed, unconnected, and/or connected networks, systems, applications and/or capabilities that may be accessed/utilized by personnel that have access will also be part of the Team’s responsibility to operate, sustain and update. Therefore, the Sr. SysAdmin will ensure accurate and reliable IT capabilities that permit the efficient retrieval, sharing, use, and analysis of information across enterprise-wide ICAM platforms in a trusted IT environment.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain experience supporting the government with the delivery of operations and maintenance support services for all aspects of the customer PIV program and will assist with it maturity level and optimization.

- Perform PIV tasks and train staff for efficient, effective task completion.
- Staff the PIV issuance desk during extended hours; provide contact methods for after-hours support.
- Provide SOPs and Knowledge Base articles to educate users on the program and their responsibilities.
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the PIV program and USAccess systems.
- Set up and monitor the PIV Self-Service Kiosk for card registration, password resets, and troubleshooting.
- Administer operating systems, card readers, and infrastructure for business processing needs.
- Support customer metrics for CNSS meetings.
- Perform PIV infrastructure and Kiosk upgrades.
- Monitor system health and optimize performance.
- Provide Tier 1, 2, and 3 support.
- Maintain appointment systems for timely PIV card activation.
- Support service level agreements.
- Handle critical walk-in service needs and ad hoc requests.
- Issue soft tokens
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years experience. In lieu of eight years' experience, certifications or past work may be accepted.
- Expertise in Authentication, Authorization, and Access Management.
- Experience with Federation Services and Trust Relationships.
- Proven track record in engineering and maintaining enterprise ICAM solutions.
- Proficient with PIV smart card technology, including issuance, revocation, troubleshooting, and renewal.
- Knowledge of Encryption technologies and tools for managing digital certificates and keys.
- Previous PIV SysAdmin experience in a 3-letter Agency.
- Skilled in managing and applying patches to ensure system security, particularly for PIV-related software and hardware.
Other Desired Skills Include
- Familiarity with PIV authentication, card authentication, and secure messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of FIPS 201 and 201-3, including remote identity proofing.
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs related to PIV integration.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP, CCNA, Oracle, MS SQL).
