Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and EVP of Commercial Partnerships to develop a strategic plan for your designated territory.
- Work with the deal team to finalize deal economics and secure internal approvals from leadership as needed.
- Create and deliver tailored presentations showcasing our capabilities to individual health systems and their target audiences.
- Oversee the process of closing contracts with new partners, coordinating with health system and internal legal teams.
- Engage with senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs, Chief Strategy Officers, VPs of Pharmacy, Heads of Nursing, and Chief Medical Officers, discussing our care model and specialty pharmacy solutions.
- Conduct meetings with key decision-makers and leverage internal resources as appropriate.
- Act as a subject matter expert by researching health systems, staying informed about the specialty pharmacy environment and policy changes, and providing competitive intelligence on market dynamics.
- Facilitate the transition of closed deals to operational leaders.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage and forecast sales activities and pipeline.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to secure new business and a deep understanding of the specialty pharmacy landscape to effectively position our solutions.
- Expert critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of needs-based selling strategies and the capability to address customer objections and concerns.
- High sense of urgency and the ability to build multi-level relationships with complex customers.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sales, executive relationship management, and service delivery, with a preference for experience selling to health system executives.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
