Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. In this role, you will deepen relationships with our current pharmaceutical clients and forge new partnerships with brands that we haven't yet engaged. Your ability to understand the needs and challenges of our clients, combined with your strategic vision, will drive the expansion of our services across their organizations.
This is a remote position that reports directly to the CEO, with an expectation of frequent travel for client meetings. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Executive, Client Solutions, Business Development, and Marketing, to achieve your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a vision for expanding business with our existing clients by staying informed about the latest developments in their portfolios and aligning our services with their needs.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within client organizations, particularly with brands that are not yet leveraging our services. Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through to close.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers to facilitate business expansion.
- Consultative Sales: Provide tailored recommendations and solutions based on a deep understanding of client needs, industry expertise, and thought leadership.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with internal teams to align on growth strategies and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in business development or client services roles, with a strong focus on selling to pharmaceutical companies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with senior-level stakeholders (VP level and above) within life sciences organizations.
- Demonstrated success in managing the entire sales process for deals exceeding $1M.
- Expertise in value-based selling, with an analytical approach and a consultative mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling presentations.
- Deep knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in patient services and market access.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop account-specific strategies for complex sales cycles.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives.
- Results-oriented problem solver who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
