Description
We are seeking dedicated investigators to conduct surveillance and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) assignments within a designated geographical area, following the guidelines provided by the Investigations Coordinator. This role involves utilizing established investigative techniques to gather covert video footage and performing various investigative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and acknowledge receipt of case assignments.
- Adhere to specific requirements of each assignment based on the Coordinator’s instructions.
- Complete video surveillance on identified individuals for the designated duration, employing established investigative techniques.
- Conduct additional investigations, including securing recorded statements, scene inspections, activity checks, and document retrieval as assigned.
- Maintain written notes on each case assignment.
- Submit all videotaped results, photographs, digital recordings, and time sheets via email to the assigning Coordinator by the next business day.
- Meet established deadlines and submit daily time sheets.
- Communicate regularly with the assigning Coordinator.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Current Private Investigator License is required.
- Investigators licensed in multiple states are a plus.
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.
- Must possess investigative tools (laptop, video cameras, digital recorder, etc.).
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
