Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Direct and mentor a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP systems, and wireless networks.
- Network Design & Analysis: Analyze network needs, design network architecture, and manage integration and installation of solutions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all network diagrams and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
- Technology Trends: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a cutting-edge IT environment.
- Standards & Procedures: Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and processes for effective network management.
- Technology Implementation: Plan and manage the deployment and support of new technologies, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for new services and pricing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-level teams and projects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Aruba and Cisco network solutions, VPN, next-generation firewalls, and telecommunications administration.
- Skills: Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, implementation, and security. Experience with Palo Alto Networks is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
