IT Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager for a family owned manufacturing company in Wadsworth, Ohio. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and strategic vision to successfully manage and enhance IT capabilities across the organization.
100% Onsite
Shift: 8:00am-5pm (flexible)
Description of Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
- Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
- Maintain and optimize essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, including networks, servers, cloud services, and telecommunication systems.
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
- Manage IT projects ensuring on-time deployment, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and mentoring to staff.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities for best outcomes.
- Identify and implement new opportunities for improving user experience, IT initiatives, cybersecurity awareness training, user and network training.
- Monitors system performance and creates standardization for selection, implementation and support of systems.
- Maintain compliance to CMMC requirements as well as NIST, DFARS and FAR requirements. Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Maintain and improve plant equipment (robots, automatic welders, press room sensors, etc.)
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in working on IT operations, supervising technology teams and projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including network administration, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting with an up-to-date integrated ERP platform is highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud services and cloud computing platforms. Experience in working with Gov’t cloud platforms is a plus.
- May be required to work remotely, or come in during off-hours for critical matters
- Occasional travel to vendors, workshops and conferences
Must be a US Citizen as some work requires ITAR compliance.
