Brief Description: The Business Systems Administrator will be pivotal in developing, implementing, training, administering, and overseeing our operating and informational business systems. This includes managing retail and customized hardware and software, ensuring network security, maintaining regulatory compliance, guaranteeing system integrity, and planning for disaster recovery. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of information technology and the ability to adapt swiftly to changes.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development & Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of business systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Training & Support: Train end users on the proper, safe, and ethical use of business systems, ensuring high levels of user proficiency.
- System Administration: Oversee the administration of business systems, including hardware and software, to maintain optimal performance.
- Network Security: Ensure robust network security measures are in place to protect company data and systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards to avoid legal and financial risks.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Team Leadership: Direct and coach IT team members, fostering competence and ensuring system integrity.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain customized database applications, queries, and reports to support business operations.
- Technical Expertise: Provide top-tier troubleshooting and repair services for business systems and networks.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring that decisions and recommendations align with the company's vision, mission, and values.
Qualifications
- Extensive working knowledge and understanding of information technology.
- Ability to learn new business systems quickly and thoroughly.
- Experience directing and coaching IT team members.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining customized database applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server, WSUS, SPC, PDM, Azure, Office365, Exostar, PIEE, and other relevant administrative web portals.
- Understanding of network peripheral management, network cabling, and termination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred.
