Summary
As KORE’s VP of Carrier Relations, you will be responsible for delivering value to customers through building the right portfolio of underlying connectivity partners. You will work with connectivity providers across the globe, including Mobile Network Operators, Satellite Operators, and others. You will work hand in hand with the Product Technology and Revenue organizations to build the right portfolio of suppliers and the right partnerships in the space. You will lead and develop a team to create deep and valuable relationships with KORE’s partners.
Essential Functions
- Own the relationships with KORE’s connectivity partners from strategy to negotiation to operations.
- Manage tens of millions in spend with partners , optimizing for product fit and cost, delivering increasing cash generation to KORE.
- Ensure KORE’s products are backed by the best connectivity partnerships in the industry.
- Build relationships beyond the transactional, build connections with high-level leaders in our partners’ businesses.
- Work closely with product team to align customer value with underlying connectivity relationships.
- Work closely with engineering team to build, manage, and operate KORE’s integration with partners.
- Develop and implement strategy to bring data-driven decision making to the carrier relations team.
- Assist the go-to-market team in finding opportunities to bring new models to partners including co-marketing / co-sell.
- Attract, retain, and manage an outcome-oriented team of telecom experts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in telecom leadership roles, with a strong background in IoT (Internet of Things).
- 15+ years' experience in business development or procurement roles.
- 5+ years working in global ecosystem with internal and external teams.
- In-depth understanding of telecom procurement and business.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related degree.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
