We are looking for an experienced Sales Development leader. As the Director of Business Development, you will play a vital role in driving our sales efforts to new heights. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing business development team, developing strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of our company and the success of our customers.
Eligible candidates have and can work successfully in a remote environment and are familiar with working in a fast-paced hyper-growth SaaS start-up. This is a full-time remote role and is open to candidates in the United States.

In this role, you will:
- Build and develop a highly skilled sales development team by recruiting, training, and mentoring team members
- Build the pipeline for all the revenue channels Direct and Channel Partners
- Set and track goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales development team
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth
- Use ABM strategy to build account contacts and pipeline
- Travel to company events to have FTF interaction with all the customers. Traveling to these events will be 20% of your time.
- Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the sales development team
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business development efforts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure DNSFilter remains at the forefront of the DNS security industry
To qualify for this role, you have:
- Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in sales development or a related role
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of building and leading successful sales development teams
- Experience and Strategic mindset to contribute towards shaping and steering the GTM strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth
- In-depth knowledge of the internet industry, including DNS security and cybersecurity threats
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose data-driven solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

U.S. hiring salary range
$130,000—$170,000 USD

The hiring base pay is dependent upon many factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and/or geographic location. As a fully remote company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets.
