Oversees the Information Technology functions as the relationship manager between the business functions and the IT organization. The role is focused on understanding the business strategy and objectives and determining how best to leverage information technology to enable the business to achieve their goals. Translates strategies and processes into clear objectives and practical action plans for IT. Describes a clear and actionable picture of the IT needs and markets the value of IT services and programs to the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Maintains a thorough understanding of business systems and applications portfolio. Ensures the technology, vision, and direction of IT are aligned with the goals and objectives of the business. Manages the portfolio of technical projects and systems support services to meet business needs.
• Initiates and manages requests for system and application changes. Contributes to the development and implementation of IT strategy and understands/translates the impact for business. Ensures projects are aligned with the IT strategy and standards.
• Assists business with the identification, planning, and execution of projects requiring IT involvement.
• Presents requirements of business projects to IT team and assists business with writing the IT component of business cases. Identifies key IT resources needed on projects and helps identify business subject matter experts. Ensures projects are started successfully before handing them off to project managers.
• Analyzes requirements and helps define enhancements to existing business application software and processes. Facilitates transition of systems and applications from project to business operations.
• Captures, defines, prioritizes, and communicates business requirements and issues to IT team. Captures, defines, prioritizes, and communicates IT standards, processes, and issues to business.
• Assists in technology searches to meet business needs or project objectives.
• Maintains communication and accountability with direct reports
• Understands the importance and role of cybersecurity for an organization. Able to consult and work with cybersecurity specialists as required to manage overall Corporate Cybersecurity Structure.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
Experience
• 7-10 years diverse Information Technology experience.
• 3-5 years management experience
• Food manufacturing and understanding of food processing standards and policies a plus
• EDI experience is a plus
• PLC experience is a plus
• Technology Certifications such as O365, Meraki, Azure, CISSP, etc are a plus

Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% travel visiting manufacturing facilities or affiliated locations. Position requires time
spent on the manufacturing floor.
