T-Rex is seeking an Windows Systems Administrator to support the transformation and administration of resilient, secure environments as the Department of Treasury looks to transition from an on-premise infrastructure to the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for providing administrative support to various Microsoft Windows Systems.
- Will have good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and their integrations with Linux systems.
- Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, GPO, and server replication methods.
- Clear understanding of Group Policy Management and management GPO to keep a clean and organized environment.
- The ability to use various troubleshooting techniques to solve technical problems of a low to high scope.
- Work with Cyber team to maintain security requirements as well as taking the necessary action to remediate reported vulnerabilities.
- Assist the team with patching responsibilities and provide new ideas to improve the current process.
- Maintain documentation up to date and collaborate with new troubleshooting techniques in our internal knowledge base repo.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and the full understanding of domain-based systems.
- Experience with Group Policy Management is required.
- Experience maintaining Active Directory, DNS
- Experience with WSUS patching tool is a plus
- Experience with patching strategies and clear understanding of patching best practices
- Experience with any or all Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- PowerShell scripting experience
Desired Education & Experience:
- AWS certified and experience is a plus
- Experience with automation tools is a plus

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
