We are seeking a hands-on candidate who will work with our Business and Operations organizations to understand current and future IT needs, provide IT business related solutions, develop internal personnel resources, and develop department budgets. As a technology leader, we seek someone who will be accountable for building and maintaining the IT infrastructure, providing technical solutions, training, and recommend continuous improvement options. The IT Manager reports globally to the Director of IT and locally to the Regional Managing Director. The position resides in our Cincinnati facility.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage staff in an employee friendly, team focused, fast-paced service environment by communicating in a timely and consistent basis with the team, coordinating team and team member projects and activities, provide coaching, mentoring and training, work with team members to establish performance objectives and measures then evaluate and review with each and discuss and agree on information systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards and hold team members accountable.
- Manage Service Provider Relationship and Performance for the Cincinnati site in coordination/collaboration of the overall global IT environment. This position will work directly with both global Service Providers and local vendors for WAN/LAN, Security & Communications, Manage Desktop Services & Data Center, Help Desk, SAP/ERP functionality, and Basis Support, Manage Print Solution and Mobile Phones.
- Assist direct reports in providing 2nd level support to end users on all desktop and network related incidents and issues along with support of our SAP ERP system. 2nd level support is defined as items service provider unable to resolve or are outside the scope of service provider support.
- Work with Global IT leadership to support company operations and strategic plans by building and maintaining reliable network infrastructure, provide information systems by incorporating user’s needs into development plans, and providing technical and user support.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting IT requirements, preparing an annual budget (both capital and operational), and ensure expenditure effectiveness.
- Manage both global and local procure to pay process for NA IT, including requisitioning, seeking approvals, performing goods receipts of goods and services to ensure invoices are processed and payments completed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- A bachelor’s degree in an MIS/IS related program, continuous related education, and/ or related experience.
- Completed SAP technical or process Training for at least one functional area e.g., FICO. Additional training or exposure to other SAP modules and process areas e.g., Security, CRM, Basis or ABAP advantageous
- Implementation and migration experience desire
- SAP S4/HANA preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing diverse IT systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft network systems and applications.
- Knowledge of basic business terminology and practices.
- Demonstrated team management/leadership success.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to direct teams, instruct others, and communicate with management.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be both the business and technical leader of the IT department.
- Passionate about quality and customer service including meeting deadlines and solving difficult technical requirements.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of recent full-time experience as an SAP analysts/configurator or related SAP business experience. Experience in business process designs a plus.
- Knowledge of Integration between modules
- Knowledge of SAP query tool
- Basic configuration skills
- SAP Project implementation experience as a developer, integration expert or support analyst would be preferred
- Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA would be a plus
Working Conditions
Working Hours/Environment:
- Support business core hours, 40 hours per/week with possibility of additional time required in evenings/weekend or holidays as needed due to emergencies/projects/go-live situations.
