As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing secure, scalable cloud solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders, leading projects that align with client goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in cloud security, DevSecOps, and everything-as-code will help drive the transformation of our clients' infrastructures into efficient, secure, and modern systems.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, the ability to meet public trust clearance requirements, and a proven track record of working successfully within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and compliance. You'll embed security, quality, and testing into pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Leverage container technologies to ensure consistent deployment and scalability across various environments.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Build and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and resilience for both government and public-facing applications.
- Production Reliability: Maintain high availability and reliability of cloud systems. Automate operational tasks to minimize manual interventions.
- Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Implement monitoring solutions to track performance and address bottlenecks for optimal resource utilization.
- Everything-as-Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure systems meet or exceed federal security standards and regularly conduct security assessments to enforce compliance.
- Agile & DevSecOps Collaboration: Actively engage in Agile teams, contributing to continuous improvement in DevSecOps practices.
- Automation Testing: Develop and integrate automated tests for infrastructure and deployment scripts to ensure system stability and security.
- System & Data Flow Analysis: Oversee information flow and data integrity, analyzing integration points and supporting root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Cloud & DevSecOps Expertise: 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions, particularly on AWS. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Programming & System Optimization: Strong skills in Java, Python, and Bash for task automation and operational efficiency.
- Data Management: Experience in data models, SQL, Python, and ETL processes, as well as analytic stores for visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Cloud Security & Compliance: Experience in deploying secure cloud services and knowledge of compliance standards like FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800-53.
- Problem-Solving & Product Management: Innovative problem-solver with strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork & Agile Practices: Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.
- Preferred: Experience in the government sector, particularly with DHS, and a current public trust clearance.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer
- Terraform Certified Associate
