Responsibilities
Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a HBSS SME to provide engineering design support for the migration of MSC’s NOC to the Navy Flank Speed Cloud Mission Owner Environment. Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop installation guide for Highly Available HBSS system deployed in Azure IL-5 and IL-6 regions
- Work with a team of SMEs to develop architecture and design drawings for enterprise migration effort
- Deploy and manage HBSS in cloud environments
- Perform system administration on HBSS servers, including ePO upgrades and client product patches
- Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures
- Provide input into migration project schedule
- Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Must have or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description
- Deep understanding of installing ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) in a hot/hot environment
- Experience installing standard HBSS modules, including McAfee Agent (MA), Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor (PA), VirusScan Enterprise (VSE), Rogue System Detection (RSD), Asset Baseline Monitor (ABM), and Asset Configuration Compliance Module (ACCM)
- Experience creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides
- Experience working with Navy customers preferred
- Experience working in a cloud environment preferred
