Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Configuration Manager. As a Configuration Manager you will play a critical role akin to that of an experienced cyber systems administrator, with a specialized focus on the management and optimization of our system configurations. This position demands a high level of proficiency in switching and networking, as these skills will be fundamental in overseeing our network configurations and ensuring their optimal performance. The ideal candidate will bring an open-minded approach to the role, constantly seeking innovative solutions and best practices to enhance our system's efficiency and security. Your responsibility will extend beyond mere maintenance; you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to revolutionize our system management practices. This role is designed for a visionary who is eager to challenge the status quo and drive our cybersecurity infrastructure towards unparalleled excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Support tracking of baseline release versions across the programs systems.
- Support management of the RM configuration repository for the program's development and baseline efforts.
- Support configuration management of all client hardware and software.
- Support license management for all client hardware and software COTS license.
- Track client end of life (EOL) and end of support/service (EOS) dates for COTS hardware and software.
- Support operation of the asset management system for tracking client hardware and software assets.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in configuration management of technology development, 5 of which must be in the DoD industry.
- Must have progressive experience in managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits to enable government ownership of the program technical baseline.
- US citizenship and secret clearance eligibility.
