In this role, you will be essential in driving growth and success in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Your primary responsibilities will include generating substantial revenue, closing high-value customer deals, and leading a team of Sales Directors to meet their business goals. As a key member of our dynamic global sales organization, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to contribute to our mission of becoming a worldwide market leader in the industry.
This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your home office, reporting to the AVP Sales, Central.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Directors to meet and exceed individual and team quotas.
- Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including quoting, negotiating, and supporting the team in closing complex deals through executive-level relationships with key prospects.
- Monitor and manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results through effective pipeline management.
- Develop and grow the Midwest US market, building and nurturing relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Coordinate and conduct regular one-on-one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings, mentoring, and training sessions for continuous improvement and best practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement corporate objectives and scorecards, ensuring the sales team adheres to high productivity standards.
- Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top sales talent to cultivate a world-class team.
- Be a catalyst for positive change, helping to define and implement new models and processes to drive business growth.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Presales, Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven senior sales experience with robust leadership and management skills.
- Proactive and results-driven approach with over 10 years of field and remote sales experience, consistently exceeding quotas.
- Experience in B2B sales of networking and/or security solutions in a competitive market.
- Expertise in selling to C-Level and Technical buyers within the enterprise space.
- At least 2 years of experience managing an individual contributor sales team.
- Demonstrated success in channel recruitment and enablement, with a solid record of channel sales achievements.
- Strong ability to accurately forecast sales results and negotiate contracts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding environment.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to achieving exceptional results.
- Experience in a startup environment and selling cloud-based solutions is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is highly desirable.
