In this role, you will be crucial to driving growth and success in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana region, generating substantial revenue and closing high-value customer deals. You will lead a team of Sales Directors to achieve business goals and collaborate closely with colleagues to advance our mission of becoming the worldwide market leader in our industry. This position is remote, allowing you to work from your home office, reporting to the AVP Sales, Central.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Directors to meet and exceed quotas.
- Oversee the sales cycle, including quoting, negotiating, and supporting your team in closing complex deals through executive-level relationships.
- Monitor daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results.
- Develop and grow the Midwest US market by building and nurturing relationships.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and team-wide pipeline reviews and training sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop corporate objectives and ensure productivity standards.
- Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top sales talent for a world-class team.
- Foster collaborative relationships with Presales, Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven senior sales experience with leadership and management skills.
- Proactive and results-driven, with over 10 years of field and remote sales experience and a record of exceeding quotas.
- Experience in B2B sales of networking and/or security solutions.
- Expertise in selling to C-Level and Technical buyers within the enterprise space.
- At least 2 years managing an individual contributor sales team.
- Demonstrated success in channel recruitment and enablement.
- Strong ability to forecast sales results and negotiate contracts.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding environment.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a startup and selling cloud-based solutions is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is highly desirable.
